This is an excellent and well written review…. But it gives a very distorted perspective. Almost everyone I’ve spoken to about the show felt that something was off for the second and third nights of AC. Nothing ever really gelled, transitions were awkward and clunky. I think a little more honesty in these .net reviews would be appreciated by all. To read this you’d think that saying anything negative is not allowed here. You even dare to make no mention of the real reason for the sass intro. (The incredibly awkward jam abortion from the night before.). The lyrics to that intro were a very appropriate as acknowledgment of what happened…. “And if the moment passes, you should try it once again, for it you do it right you’ll find the moment never ends.”
The Atlantic City shows were both beautiful, weird and perplexing. Ripcords and awkward transitions interspersed amidst arcing beauty. It was a strange run.
